This project was the visual component of a two-month event on the theme "as he said". In the New Testament period, specifically in the book of Acts, the apostles walked the path as they were told by the Trinity - God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. The message is that we should live our lives in a way that mimics theirs. The smoke in the poster represents the Holy Spirit, and it is only through him that we can remember and follow Jesus Christ. Furthermore, the life of Jesus Christ was such that his followers expected his life on earth to shine like silver, but he died on a cross. But, paradoxically, his death was a death of glory and honour, a death that, while shameful on earth, took the place of our death in sin. In conclusion, the Silk Road, or silvery silk, was chosen as the background to show that his life was a glorious, shining life, incomparable to his earthly glory. The dots on the poster also represent the distances on a map of the areas we would visit over the next two month.
